Next Steps

Have you received a conveyancing quote and are happy to proceed?

Here is what to do next to get started...

Step 1 - Informing

Please pass my details to the estate agents so they can issue the memorandum of sale. This document formally introduces all parties involved in the transaction including the buyer, the seller and their respective solicitors.

Step 2 - Onboarding

You will need to sign up to Nexa Law's terms and conditions and provide ID.

Step 3 - Conveyancing

Sit tight, we're on our way! On average, a conveyancing transaction in the UK takes around 12-14 weeks, so that's a good timeline to keep in mind from this point forward. Wherever possible, it's best not to fix your heart on a specific date until all parties in the chain are ready to exchange contracts. That said, if you have any unavoidable deadlines, please let both me and the estate agents know so that we can plan accordingly.

Final Step - Completion

Congratulations! I am so pleased to have helped you on this journey. Thank you for choosing me as your solicitor. I wish you all the best for the future and if you ever need assistance again, whether for property matters or recommendations, I will be here to help.
