Conveyancing Costs
The way I operate is that I charge a guaranteed fixed fee for all the legal work. I don’t charge per letter or per telephone call. This means that you will be able to budget accurately for the total cost of the transaction at the outset.
Fixed Fees for Standard Transactions
For a standard residential property sale/purchase, fees will be based on property price as follows:
- Up to £500,000 = £1,200 plus VAT
- £500,001 to £999,000 = £1,400 plus VAT
- £1 Million and over = 0.15% of price plus VAT
Supplements:
- £200 plus VAT for mortgage work
- £500 plus VAT for leasehold work
- £300 plus VAT for share of freehold
- £400 plus VAT for freehold with a rent/service charge
- £500 plus VAT for new build
- £200 plus VAT for unregistered title
